WELCOME to Triangle Shetland Sheepdog Club of NC's home on the web! We trust you will find your visit insightful, informative and down-right enjoyable!
TSSC of NC is an American Kennel Club- sanctioned sheltie breed club serving the greater Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area. The mission of TSSC is to promote the interests of the Shetland Sheepdog and its fanciers. Our members strive to promote a positive image of the breed. We do this through sponsoring specialty shows, matches, educational seminars, obedience and agility events, and social gatherings. The club meets on the second Thursday of each month, except for July, August and December. August and December are reserved for social gatherings. In August we have a picnic and eye clinic; in December, a holiday dinner for our members and their guests. Club meetings are rotated among member's homes. A newsletter is distributed at least quarterly. For membership information, please contact Kristy Pedersen, or for information regarding meetings contact Krystn Messer. The Club hosts two AKC-sanctioned independent
specialty shows annually, usually falling on the second weekend in November. The
year 2000 was our inaugural year for back-to-back shows. This past year's specialty
shows were held November 10 and 11, 2007. You may obtain show information,
including downloading the premium for our most recent specialties,
HERE.
