Our 2011 Back-to-Back SheltieSpecialty Shows*
Specialty and Herding Breed Obedience & Rally Trials*
* Pending AKC Approval

The Triangle Shetland Sheepdog Club of North Carolina holds annual back-to-back Specialty Shows, usually the second weekend of each November.  Historically, these specialty shows are held at the Felicite Latane Animal Sanctuary in Mebane, North Carolina, a great, easy-to-access location where we have enjoyed holding our local specialties for the tenth year in a row.

The Triangle Shetland Sheepdog Club of North Carolina's 2011 back-to-back Specialty Shows are none too far away, and that weekend will arrive before we know it! Information about this two-day event may be found below, and will be updated as more information is received.

Additional Obedience and Rally trials for Herding breeds.
Friday evening  we will hold a specialty Rally trial for Shetland Sheepdogs followed by a Rally trial for Herding Breeds (all AKC Herding group breeds, including Shelties eligible).
Obedience Trials for Shetland Sheepdogs followed by Herding Breed Obedience Trials will be held Saturday and Sunday earlier in the day.

Obedience and Rally classes are held indoors, while Conformation  classes are judged outdoors, weather permitting.  TSSC of NC has been inordinately fortunate, enjoying great fall weather the weekend of our shows since we began using the Animal Sanctuary, and all are able to enjoy some of the great things about North Carolina's temperate climate.

Grooming space is available indoors, although it is asked that any/all chalking be done outside.  The club offers an awesome raffle on both Saturday and Sunday and the raffle tables are always heavily-laid with some of the best raffle prizes the Triangle area has to offer.  A local Boy Scout troop has become a staple supporter of our specialty shows, providing loading, unloading and setup assistance wherever needed, as well as providing sandwiches, drinks, chips and sweets for hungry show participants.

This is one two-day specialty event you just don't want to miss!
